Jessie Girl Scout bridging from Daisy to Brownies

June 14th Jessie bridged from a Daisy Girl Scout to a Brownie Scout. We had a picnic in the park and the girls lined up crossed over a path starting as daisy scout and then receiving their brownie vests. I made daisy cupcakes and the other leader made brownies. The girls loved it.

Mini Oplympics

June 11th and 12th.What an absolutely crazy weekend it has been. Not only was it Jessie's birthday but this was Mini Olympics from the kids gymnastics. Kaelyn being on the girls team had to participate in all 6 shows. We skipped one of them so that we could fit in Jessie's birthday party. Jake had his show on Saturday at 11. and then headed off to catch the last part of his baseball game and season end party. He had a crazy full day and made it through. I loved watching him in his gym show. He has gotten so strong, and if he wants will be starting on the Boys level 4 team.  Jessie had her show on Sunday afternoon. and she remembered most of her routine. She ended up being the only one from her class to participate in the show. I love that everything she does she does with the biggest smile on her face and a wave to all of us watching her. Kaelyn as I said was in every show. She did couple of exhibitions, beam and bars and her team did a floor routine plus the finally. The kids have all improved and grown so much this year. Jessie will be moving on to level 2, Jake to boys team level 4 and Kaelyn will stay Level 6 at least until after fall meet season. videos to come soon.

Cool Girl

June 11th Jessie turned 7 years old. WOW. My baby is no longer a baby. We had a hard time trying to figure out when to have a party because we wanted to do it before school was out and vacations started. Her birthday weekend was also Mini O weekend for the kids gymnastics shows and because KK is on the team she was supposed to be at all 6 shows as well as Jessie was in 1 show and Jake was in 1 show and of coarse they were not the same time. On top of the gym shows we also had baseball game and end of the season party and Sean had a soccer tournament that same weekend. We were able to fit in  a birthday party on Saturday evening after baseball and Jake's gym show and Kaelyn skipped the last show of the day so that we could fit it all in. We went to a great park in Tualatin for a picnic. It turned out to be a great busy day. She had a few friends show up and she kept saying that it was the best birthday ever. enjoy the pix.

KK gym banquette

June 5th, Kaelyn had her annual gymnastics banquette while I was gone to my nephews graduation party. She took her grandparents with her this year. We went shopping the weekend before I left and she picked out a dress and shoes. The girls each received a new gym grip bags, new draw string bag with her name on it, and everyone received an award. I can not remember what her award was for this year. They also put on a slide show of the girls through out the year and each girl received a copy of it. Here are a few pictures that Grandpa took.

Trip to Michigan for Tommy's Graduation Party

First weekend in June, I headed to Michigan for my nephews graduation party. I was only there for a few days but was so busy helping my sister get ready for the party, the actual party and visiting a few family members, I forgot to take pictures. The part was great, she had a taco/burrito bar with all the fixing, she made the cakes with a friend and I got to help do some of the frosting. We put together the card basket, and posters of pictures. At the end of the party Tommy set off fireworks. The next day was going to church, visiting my aunt who was sick in the hospital and doing clean up from the party. Before I knew it, it was time to head home.
