Last day of School and KK 5th Grade Promotion

June 14th. Yeah we made it through another school year. I took couple of days off so that I could attend Kaelyn's 5th grade picnic and the last day of school parties as well as Kaelyn's 5th grade promotion. The picnic was held at Gabriel park on Monday the 13th. I headed up to the school early to go to Jessie's 1st grade slide show and party and then headed to KK class. Picked up KK and her friend and headed to the park, where I helped hand out drinks, pizza and ice cream. and then watched the kids run around and play. forgot my camera so no pictures of this event. There was a mom that was taking pictures for the 5th grade slide show but I have still not received any from her. We then headed back to the school where I picked up the other kids at the end of school. The next day Tuesday the 14th.  We walked to school for the last time this year. I got them settled and then came home and ran some errands before having to be back at the school for KK's promotion and slide show at 1:30. I can not believe that she is moving on to middle school. The whole idea of it is just way to scary for me to think about. The kids are growing up way to fast. The slide show was great. Kaelyn was in there a few times, mostly from her 3rd grade teacher's photos and the 5th grade photos. I loved seeing the kids in their art classes and some fun class projects that they worked on and the 3rd grade car wash. She was also part of the green team and took a special trip with a few other kids from her school to learn more about how to live green. It has been a great year. We are looking forward to a hopefully relaxing fun summer.
