So we scheduled the driving test about a week or so after his birthday. I took the afternoon off to take him. He passed the driving test, no problems, then went to take the refresher written test and guess what, someone did not refresh and did not pass. He said that there were too many questions about motorcycles. He was devastated. The rules are that you can retake the test the next day, so we got up, got the other kids out the door to school and the daycare kids in the door, and headed over to the DMV where he retook the test and passed it before even finishing all the questions. We got home and he took off driving for a bit. The next day he went out driving again and guess what, he had his first accident. Yeah for my no extremely higher auto insurance. Thankfully it was just a minor fender bender but totally scared him and it took me about a week to get him to drive again.
