Hello everyone. big news in our house this week is on Monday Jessie taught herself how to tie a bow. She put on a dress up dress that ties in the back. Well she brought them to the front and tied it. then came and showed me how she did it. I have not worked with her on it in a while so not sure who taught her or if she remembers from before but she did it. later in the day I sat down with all the kids that could not tie and we practiced tying shoe's. Jessie got it right away. 2 of the 3 kids I was working with got. Jake is still working on it. As we all know his fine motor skills are just not where they should be yet and we are working on it. however he has begun to read a few words and is trying hard to guess spell words when writing. Not bad.
The other big news this week is Erik Turned 38 yesterday. But he forgot how old he was and was telling people that he was 39. We corrected that real quick because if he is 39 that puts me a year closer to 39 and I can wait. We did not do much for his birthday. We went to dinner this past Sunday with his family for his and his mom's birthday and then last night we just had dinner and cake. I invited some of my family over for dinner this next Sunday. The kids picked out a singing balloon and made some card's for him which he took to work today.

Hello everyone,
here's another cute picture of Jessie who got all dolled up and even wanted her hair done for school on Tuesday.
We have had a busy week and weekend. Most of the week was spent working and then running the kids to there activities. Sean had soccer practice on Monday and Wednesday, Kaelyn had gymnastics on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Jake had T-ball practice on Wednesday and gymnastics on Saturday, and Jessie had her gymnastics on Friday and Saturday. Thankfully there was no Boy Scouts or Girl scouts this week. Friday night after gym. practice, Kaelyn's team spent the night at the gym and lucky me got to supervise. that was fun. It actually did not go as bad as I had pictured. there was very little drama and all the girls were asleep by 2 am. We woke up and the other mom that stayed with me went to go and pick up some donuts for everyone and brought me back a great big Vanilla Latte which, kept me awake for the rest of the day.
Saturday was just as crazy as the week. Kaelyn and I left the gym just before 8 and headed home for a quick shower and then we were off to a T-ball for Jake at 9:00 and Erik took Sean to his Soccer game. He needed to be there by 8:30 and the game started at 9:30 which his team won and they qualified for quarter finals. I Left Jake and grandpa at Jake's game and headed to work. and then home for a quick bite to eat. Erik left around 12:30 for the bingo fundraiser thing (our last time we have to work until next quarter) and I took Kaelyn to the gym for a parent coach conference. We are very excited that Kaelyn will move up 2 levels to a team called Pre-optionals. She will compete 1 level 6 meet and as long as she scores a 31 or higher she will then move right into level 7. They will start Level 7 training this summer and will only compete when they have all parts of their routines down. maybe late fall but most likely next spring. After the meeting I left her there for her practice and went and picked up Jake and Jessie and brought them back to the gym for their practice at 3:30. We stayed at the gym until Kaelyn was done. (everyone was so tired from the sleepover Friday night so practice ended an hour early). I decided that I was going to try and take a little snooze before I made dinner. well I tried but did not succeed as I had caffeine and every time I dosed off someone would come in. so I got up and warmed up leftover for dinner and it was a relax and hangout night. I watched a movie and Erik and the older kids played rock band with Uncle Matt. Jake snuggled with me (his snuggle night which Jessie was not happy about) and Jessie went to bed and read some books until she fell asleep.
Sunday
I decided to let the kids sleep in and so they stayed home with dad while I went to work. and then we were off to Sean's Soccer game (quarter final). and guess what, surprisingly they won. they are in the top four and will move on to Semi Finals next weekend. Pretty exciting. If they can win finals they will head to California for Regional's. Keep your finger crossed. We then drove the 45 min back to our side of town and headed to Flying Pie Pizza for a family dinner with Erik's side. We are celebrating Erik's 38th birthday and Judy's 62nd birthday. We had a quick dinner and then off to Wayne and Judy's house for cake gifts and Blazer game. We are home now and still watching the blazers which are tied 63 to 63. GO BLAZERS. I have some pictures of Jake in his T-ball gear (Kansas City Royals) but they are stuck on Grandpa's camera and I keep forgetting to show him how to get them off. As soon as I can I will post them.

Monday
not much going on today. it is beautiful out side and we are going to spend as much time as possible outside. Jessie really enjoyed cleaning up the back yard yesterday. She has her bucket outside and carrying it around with her and picking up any pine cones, twigs, or leaves. She even has one of the daycare kids out there helping her. I wish the older kids would be as excited about it and think that it was fun.
Sean has soccer practice today and we are doing our normal Monday night grocery shopping. Here is a picture of Jessie with couple of her pine cones that she saved.

April 19th
This weekend was very busy. We started out on Saturday morning with a T-ball game for Jake that started at 9:00 and a Soccer game (state cup) for Sean which started at 9:00 as well. I took Jake and Erik took Sean. Jessie had to tag along with me and Kaelyn was at a friends house because she had a girl scout thing that started at 10 and well there is just 2 of us and there was no way we could get her there. Anyway, I left the t-ball game a bit early to head to work. So according to Jake they won the game even though at this age no scores are kept. Kaelyn made it through her Earth Day project and Sean's team tied their game. I worked until noon and then had a gymnastics fundraiser that I had to work (bingo hall) until 4:30. the kids got to play at the park for a bit with Erik and some friends and then it was off to gymnastics. which turned out to be a bit of an adventure for them as Dad got confused on my list and forgot to pick them up, so they got to stay for an extra half hour until I got there to get them. At least they had fun. Jessie was scared at first but was ok once one of the instructor's came and let them go play in the foam pit. Another busy Saturday.
Sunday
Same ol same ol
We went to church where I work from 8:30 until little past 12 then headed to Sean's soccer game. which did not go so well for them. although Sean did get to play more this game. However even though he played his hardest and was quite disappointed they lost. His team has been knocked down to 3rd place. the top 2 teams get to move on to the next round. He has 1 more game this round so keep your fingers crossed that the other team has just as bad of a game as we had today and that Sean's team wins theirs next weekend.
We then came home and started some yard work. Yipppeee it is finally nice out side. however we did not get much done before time to make dinner and get kids ready for bed. bummer. Maybe next weekend it will be nice again.
